Salute tout le monde (Hi everyone)

This week has been very hot and exciting for all WISEA students.
We had a new student Richard who joined us on Tuesday in Yr10. So far he enjoys our school very much, ‘…it’s nice and interesting…’ he says and has made some new friends.

Yesterday(Wednesday) we made delicious hot lovely scones. One of our teachers taught us how to make the delicious English treat. We worked in teams to make 35 scones, which we will be taking home with us.

The plants are growing really well and because we had so many plants (tomatoes), we had to uproot some in order to leave space for the better one to yield a good harvest. All in all, all the other seedling are growing well and we are looking forward to a good harvest. After a long hot hard day of work and gardening, we enjoyed some of the sugarcanes from our garden.

Apart from all these other activities, we have also enjoyed a variety of lesson.
Deborah has enjoyed learning about Hitler’s leadership this week. She was surprised by how long Hitler planned to rule before he got into power. Tabby and Precious enjoyed reading and watching Animal Farm for their English. Richard has also been reading it and so far he has enjoyed it. Morgan has enjoyed hanging out with Richard our new student this week and Jemimah enjoyed the making of the scones.

Another great week here at WISE Africa.
