What's Up?

Hola Blog people!
Quite a few interesting things have happened these last two weeks. For instance we had a shared open day with the Primary School. What is an Open Day you may ask? It's just a day where parents and friends come to the school for an afternoon of celebration and information of the schools. WISE Africa was part of the program. We showed many parents different and exciting Science experiments, we also presented in front of all the parents a presentation informing them about WISE Africa. This was a little scary but worth it because some parents have decided to bring their children over to this school. Apart from that throughout the week we enjoyed some discussions about politics, history and society, mostly Ugandan.

The Student body of WISE Africa have been teaching some of the students in the Primary section how to bake. We did with them a coffee cake and flapjacks. It was a girls against boys compitition and the girls won(naturally)!

We were very excited to see Miss Holly from the UK again. She brought with her a pack of loom bands. Tabby, a student of WISE Africa has been teaching the rest of us how to make a loom band. We got creative and made a variety of loom bands in the end.

All in all a wonderful two weeks
